Guidelines for Abstract Submission

We welcome all participants interested in presenting at 10th ILLC 2025 to submit their abstracts. Abstracts may be written and submitted in English, Malay, or Chinese. All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process, and successful submissions will receive an acceptance letter within 14 working days. Please ensure that your abstract adheres to the following guidelines. Submissions that do not comply with these requirements will not be considered for review.

  1. Formatting: Use Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing, and justified text with 1.58-inch margins on all sides.
  2. Title Length: The title should not exceed 25 words.
  3. Title Format: Write the title in Title Case, Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, and justified. Titles in Malay or Chinese must include an English translation.
  4. Author Names: List the main author and co-authors in bold. Indicate the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) after their name.
  5. Author Listing: If there are multiple authors (maximum of four), use “and” instead of “&.” For example, “Ali, Abu, Siti and Ani,” not “Ali, Abu, Siti & Ani.”
  6. Affiliations: Italicise affiliations, including the department, faculty, postal code, city, and country.
  7. Email Addresses: Provide the email addresses of all authors in sequence, with their full names in parentheses after each email address.
  8. Abstract Content: Write the abstract in a single paragraph, not exceeding 200 words. It should include the research objective, methodology, results, and implications or conclusions.
  9. Keywords: Provide up to five (5) keywords, listed in alphabetical order.
  10. Language: Abstracts may be written in English, Malay, or Chinese. Abstracts in Malay or Chinese must include an English translation.

  12. Template: Follow the format specified in the abstract template, which is available for download.
  13. Submission Deadline: Submit your abstract no later than 15 July 2025.
  14. Scope: These guidelines apply to abstracts written in English, Malay, or Chinese.
