Guidelines for Abstract Submission
We welcome all participants interested in presenting at 10th ILLC 2025 to submit their abstracts. Abstracts may be written and submitted in English, Malay, or Chinese. All submitted abstracts will undergo a review process, and successful submissions will receive an acceptance letter within 14 working days. Please ensure that your abstract adheres to the following guidelines. Submissions that do not comply with these requirements will not be considered for review.
- Formatting: Use Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 spacing, and justified text with 1.58-inch margins on all sides.
- Title Length: The title should not exceed 25 words.
- Title Format: Write the title in Title Case, Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, and justified. Titles in Malay or Chinese must include an English translation.
- Author Names: List the main author and co-authors in bold. Indicate the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) after their name.
- Author Listing: If there are multiple authors (maximum of four), use “and” instead of “&.” For example, “Ali, Abu, Siti and Ani,” not “Ali, Abu, Siti & Ani.”
- Affiliations: Italicise affiliations, including the department, faculty, postal code, city, and country.
- Email Addresses: Provide the email addresses of all authors in sequence, with their full names in parentheses after each email address.
- Abstract Content: Write the abstract in a single paragraph, not exceeding 200 words. It should include the research objective, methodology, results, and implications or conclusions.
- Keywords: Provide up to five (5) keywords, listed in alphabetical order.
- Language: Abstracts may be written in English, Malay, or Chinese. Abstracts in Malay or Chinese must include an English translation.
- Editing and Proofreading: Authors must ensure high language quality in their submissions. Submitted abstracts should be thoroughly edited and proofread. Poor language quality, whether in English, Malay, or Chinese, will result in rejection.

- Submission Deadline: Submit your abstract no later than 1 July 2025.

Guidelines for Proceeding Paper Submission (SCOPUS-Indexed)
Alternatively, interested participants are welcome to submit their full papers for consideration for publication in the 10th ILLC 2025 Scopus-indexed e-proceedings. Papers may be written and submitted in English, Malay, or Chinese. All submissions will undergo a rigorous review process, and authors of successful papers will be notified accordingly. Please ensure that your paper adheres to the specified guidelines. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for review.
General Requirements
- The proceeding paper must be formatted using Times New Roman, font size 12, with 1.5 spacing, and 1.58-inch margins on all sides.
- The paper should be 4 to 6 pages in length, including an abstract of no more than 200 words.
- Manuscripts must strictly adhere to the specifications outlined in the proceeding paper template, available for download.
- Submissions that do not comply with the formatting requirements will not be considered for review.
- The submission deadline for publication in the proceedings is 1 June 2025.
- Papers may be written in English, Malay, or Chinese.
- For papers written in Malay or Chinese, an English translation of the title, abstract, keywords, and conclusion must be included.
Title Page Requirements
- Provide a running title in Title Case, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, and centered, with a maximum of 60 characters (including spaces).
- The article title within the manuscript should be written in Title Case, Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, and justified. The title should not exceed 25 words.
- List the names of the main author and co-authors in bold. Indicate the main author by placing an asterisk (*) after their name.
- If there are multiple authors (up to a maximum of four), please use “and” instead of “&” when listing their names. For example:
- Correct: Ali, Abu, Siti and Ani
- Incorrect: Ali, Abu, Siti & Ani
- Ensure that the authors’ full names and the sequence of authorship are consistent across the Original Manuscript, Final Manuscript, and Declaration Form.
- Italicise affiliations, including details such as department, faculty, postal code, city, and country.
- Provide the email addresses of all authors, listed according to the sequence of authorship. Include each author’s full name in brackets after their email address.
Manuscript Formatting Requirements
- Provide the article title in title case, Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, and justified. Titles in Malay and Chinese must be accompanied by an English translation.
- The abstract should be a single paragraph with a maximum of 200 words. It must include the research objective, methodology, results, and implications or conclusions.
- Keywords should not exceed five (5) entries and must be listed in alphabetical order.
- Abstracts written in Malay or Chinese must include an English translation.
- Authors must ensure high language quality in their submissions. Submitted articles should be thoroughly edited and proofread. Poor language quality, whether in English, Malay, or Chinese, will result in rejection.
- Second-Level Heading: Write in Title Case, font size 12, bold, and flush left.
- Paragraphing: Do not indent the first paragraph. Indent the first line of subsequent paragraphs by one tab to the right. Ensure there is no spacing between paragraphs.
- Tables: Italicise the table caption. Use only vertical lines. Provide the source of the table, if applicable. Submit tables as separate MS Word files in an editable format.
- Figures: Ensure that all figures are clear and high-resolution. If applicable, group all elements within the figure into a single image. Provide the source of the figure, if applicable.
- All tables and figures should be referenced within the text.
- In-text citations should follow the format:
- Example: Chen et al. (2014), (Hasnan et al., 2017; Tan, 2015), (Arif & Padi, 2010).
- Conclusions should be written in paragraph form and not as a list of points.
- Acknowledgments: Provide appropriate acknowledgments, specifying any support or contributions that require recognition.
- References: The reference list must follow the APA reference style (7th Edition). Entries should be listed in alphabetical order. Ensure that all cited sources are included in the reference list, and vice versa.
